Referral Program

3 Dogs Recycling’s referral program is to help us locate junk cars to purchase.  In return for your referral we will give you a $10.00 gift card if we purchase or take the car for free.*  It is easy for you to do and there is no limit on how many gift cards you can receive.

We ask that you know the referral personally if we are contacting them based on your recommendation.  If you don’t know the person and are just giving us a location we will need the address of the property, the person's name if you know it and any description of the car(s) you can give us.  The more information the better so that we can assign the referral to you.

We recommend talking to your referral about their junk car(s) and finding out if they are interested in selling before referring them to us..  We also suggest that you have them contact us so we can talk to them when it is convenient for them or when they are ready to sell their junk car. 

So what is a junk car?  Generally a junk car is 15 years or older, does not run or runs poorly and will cost more than it is worth to repair it.  A lot of times they have been sitting in one spot for months or years.  Cars that are used on a regular basis or that run ok are not usually considered junk cars.  As with anything there can be exceptions to the rule so please reach out if you think you know of a junk car that is newer or runs ok etc…

When we buy junk cars we are buying them for scrap metal recycling so repairs they just had done or new tires etc… do not have any bearing on the price that we will pay.  We pay based solely on weight and location (distance to scrapyard).  

Terms and Conditions 

The following terms will be used in reference to the referral program.

3 Dogs Recycling, LLC, or “Us”, “We” will be receiving referrals and in turn giving out gift cards for completed referrals.

Referral is the person(s) and/or vehicle you refer to 3 Dogs Recycling, LLC.

Referrer or “You” is the person who has provided the referral to 3 Dogs Recycling, LLC.

A Completed Referral is for a junk car(s) that we buy or take for free.  

Gift Cards

1. A gift card in the amount of $10.00 will be given for each completed junk car referral. You can receive more than one gift card from each referral if multiple cars are purchased or taken for free.
2. Cash or check will not be given to the referrer.
3. All gift cards will be delivered electronically.
4. Gift cards will be received via email, text or messenger within 5 days of 3 Dogs Recycling’s removal of the junk car(s).
5. Referrers will have the choice of a Walmart, Amazon or Visa gift card.  We reserve the right to substitute gift card companies or choices as needed.

Gift Card Recipients 

1. A gift card will only be given out for completed referrals. No gift card(s) will be given out for solely providing us with names, contact information or location.
2. We reserve the right to not contact or make a deal with your referral and in which case you will not receive a gift card from us.
3. We are solely responsible for negotiating the price or offer we are willing to pay or make with your referral.  Any deals or offers made between you and the referral will not be honored.
4. We are not responsible nor will we give out a gift card should your referrer choose to not accept our offer.
5. It is your responsibility to inform referral(s) that we may be contacting them based on information you have provided.
6. It is your responsibility to fill out the referral form completely so that you can receive a gift card.
7. If you think that we have removed a car that you referred to us and have not received a gift card(s) it is your responsibility to contact us.  It is possible that there was not enough information to associate the referral with you.  
8. You have 30 days after the completed referral to contact us, after that time a gift card(s) will not be given out.
9. Gift card(s) is/are not intended to be payment and should be considered a thank you gift from us to you.
10. Gift card recipients are not employees of 3 Dogs Recycling and receipt of gift card(s) does not constitute any sort of employee/employer relationship between 3 Dogs Recycling, LLC and you.
